About
Jacqueline Q. Hu's creates a space of belonging amidst the high-speed globalized world around us. Working with installation, sculpture, and painting, she challenges ideas of fixed identities both symbolically and materially, believing change is the only constant in our world. By reimagining universally recognizable symbols, each of her work connects across time, space, and individuals as a way of forming complex dialogue or exchange, working to create more acceptance and harmony. We all come from and belong to the earth, yet feeling alienated is a common reoccurrence. Having grown up in multiple countries across the continents, her work draws from personal experiences within diverse communities.
